I could never understand why someone would kill my son. This ripped my family apart. Trying to move forward is pure hell without him. He was everything to us. Can’t help to wonder what his last thoughts were, what he saw, he was an innocent soul swallowed by these horrific streets of Philadelphia. I am totally proud of the man I raised while totally disgusted in the person who killed him. I have no mercy nor forgiveness for the coward who stole his life. My his killer rot here on Earth for hell may be too easy!!! May peace be upon my Son, he mattered!!!

I first meet him when We were younger , I lived in northeast and he lived out west near the train . He always made sure I was cool . And felt safe . Fast forward yrs later 2019 I finally seen him agin . At 56th n market . SMH he was full of life , he said he’s been doing good and staying out the way . At that moment I was so happy to know my childhood friend had grew up as well and he was cool . I never seen nor herd from him agin . And sadly now I know why . Marquan was such a beautiful person inside and out , very humble a nice and sweet person . He was so funny and protective . He will truly be missed by many
